Hair Care

I've been trying to take care of my hair as much as I can without getting too lazy... and here's something I've wanted to try out for a long time. We didn't have this in stock for a couple of months though, so I just got ahold of it. It's a water jelly mist.

All you need to do is spray this on the dry parts of your hair (typically the ends) or spray some onto your hand and massage it into your hair. I've been using a water "mist" essence thing for my hair before running a blow dryer over my hair, and I'm not sure if it's been actually protecting my hair but I'm excited to see what this will offer me... hoping that it actually has a benefit to my hair.

It sounds cool too. water jelly essence. HAHA Maybe I will do a review post on this product months later when I'm done using the bottle.

urban decay: NAKED 3

OH dear, a few of my friends got me a naked palette for my birthday this year. I have never owned a naked palette before although I've always wanted one. There are 3 different palettes, and they got me the 3rd one because of I'm girly and I like pink. I do tend to use pink in my makeup with brown and they felt that the other two were a bit too dark for my taste.

I LOVE IT.

I've been using it this past week to do my makeup and I'm still in the process of trying to figure out which combinations I like for the different makeup looks for different occasions.

For all you makeup lovers who don't own one --- I think it's super useful to own one! I hope to eventually get a hold of the 1 and the 2 as well.... HEHEHE

greedy Grace. haha

A shoutout of thanks to Jane Kim, Kristie Park, Joyce Kim, and Joyce Park for this lovely gift <3

New in the collection

eos lip balm: summer fruit
WELCOME to my collection, dear eos lip balm!

I've always wanted to try it out because so many people seem to be using it, and I finally got one for myself. It smells really good. I'm not too sure about how well it's working for my lips... which is actually sad because I thought it was like a really good lip product. Uh well... I guess I'll just have to use, wait and see how it works out.

Eyebrow pencil, eyebrow mascara
HERE are two eyebrow products from my work place - The Faceshop.

To the left is the Lovely Me:ex Design my eyebrows - eyebrow pencil. It's an "auto" one, meaning there is no need for sharpening because you just need to twist to roll out the product. On the other end, you have the eyebrow "brush" (I actually don't know what it's called...). I bought the "brown" color which is number 4, but there are 5 colors in total.

Colors (out of order because I don't remember anything except the one I bought):
-brown
-dark brown
-dark gray
-gray brown
-black brown

I just started trying out the eyebrow mascara very recently at work and I decided it's a good investment for me because it actually matches my eyebrow color well to my hair color. There are two different colors, one being brown which is the one in my picture. The other one is gray brown and it's a bit darker in tone and color than the brown one. I actually really like the eyebrow mascara. It works well for me, at least.

The steps of using the two products together would be for you to fill in and draw your eyebrows and the "tails" of it, and then run the mascara over your eyebrows so that the product can temporarily dye your eyebrows.

lip gloss and lip balm

LIPS, lips, lips. I don't know what it is, but I've recently been a lot more interested in lip products than ever before.

To the left is a $5 lipgloss from my work place. I had previously purchased a clear sparkly one of the same line, but I really wanted this orange one too. It's not so dark in its color, so it creates a nice lightly nude-ish but glossy at the same time kind of a look.

To the right is actually an old lip balm of mine that I received as a present a long time ago. Because I wasn't as interested at the time in lip products, I didn't use it like A LOT A LOT and that's probably why I still have this when it's pretty old( I think maybe two or three years old) and it still works wonders for me. It's a $30 dollar lip balm in the shape of a lipstick from Christian DIOR. It definitely seems like the first lip product that I really really liked and managed to not lose (I used to lose stuff like this kind of easily). I love using it over a red aqua tint that I purchased from my work place. It's not too sticky but it does its job. It seems as if I am stacking up on various makeup products, but what can I say. I gotta try them out. Haha...

Just before I end this post, I wanted to say something that I probably should have written in the beginning of the post: I haven't been on here lately because I was SO busy with USC's Korean Culture Night. I will be uploading more stuff soon!
